My approach in assisting a client achieve their physical and emotional health goal is by reducing pain. Pain can cause stress and stress can cause illness and disease. While massage is relaxing, there are other modalities and tools I use to reduces stress.
The Dolphin NeuroStim is what I use to reduce stress, and during the session I am able to manipulate the tissues more efficiently and effectively. When the body is completely relaxed, or as close to it as possible, it allows for the system to heal and regenerate as the flight or flight response is reduced dramatically.
When we’re in a constant state of stress, the body is not able to heal in an effective manner as the body is trying to protect itself from outside environmental stimuli such as work, family, or other stresses to name a few. This can cause disease and illness!
